Barmby Back And Ready To Rumble

Ex-England man Nicky Barmby thinks Hull can improve on their stat of one league loss in ten matches when Colchester visit Hull this weekend.

The 34-year-old had told his teammates via the Hull Daily Mail that he thinks City need to "keep the momentum going" after completing all most all of the game against Norwich on Tuesday. The winger is pushing to be involved once more after making his first appearance since the first month of the season.

He told the Hull Daily Mail: "Any home game, you've got to look at winning and we're no different to any other team."

He added: "We're doing all right, but I'd like to see us keep our heads down and go about our own business quietly. The fact we've come from behind twice in a week shows the character we've got in the team."

Colchester may feel they can get something from the game despite Hull`s constant run as the U`s managed to win for the first time since New Year`s Day against Preston on Tuesday.

Hull will be without their top scorer Dean Windass, who is out after an operation.
