Jackson moves up the Actim Index

Colchester United`s Johnnie Jackson moved into the top 50 in The Actim Index, the official player ratings system of the Coca-Cola Championship, after posting the second-highest score of the week.

The 25-year-old earned 63 points in his last two games, including 29 in the 1-1 draw with Hull at the KC Stadium, which saw the former Spurs player net for the third successive match.

The midfielder`s effort, which was only bettered by the 68 points recorded by Stoke`s Liam Lawrence, helped him move up 46 places to 48th overall with 351 points.

Mark Yeates, who is 98th overall with 296 points, is the other Colchester player currently sitting in the top 100.

Analysis of all Championship games is taking place throughout the season and so far the top five Colchester players are:

Player, Ranking, Position Ranking, Index Score

Johnnie Jackson, 48th, 13th Ranked Midfielder, 351 points

Mark Yeates, 98th, 26th Ranked Midfielder, 296

Kevin Lisbie, 131st, 22nd Ranked Striker, 255

Clive Platt, 139th, 23td Ranked Striker, 249

Adam Virgo, 179th, 41st Ranked Defender, 218

The Actim Index is calculated using a unique mathematical formula that rates each player`s contribution be it goals, shots, passes, dribbles, tackles, crosses, saves, clearances, blocks, interceptions, assists, clean sheets, time on the pitch or number of points gained by the team with marks deducted for red and yellow cards.
