U`s Sign McLeod!

Colchester United manager Geraint Williams has signed Charlton Athletic striker Izale McLeod on an initial one month loan deal.

McLeod will go straight into the U`s squad for tomorrow`s game with Wolves. McLeod joined Charlton, last summer, from Mk Dons, for an initial 1.1 million, but has failed to hold down a regular place. The England U-21 cap, scored 54 goals in a 116 league aperrences for the Dons.

Vital Colchester would like to welcome Izale, let`s hope it proves to be a productive signing.

Fab signing! I was joking when I asked Vital Charlton to lend him to us!!
Matt_Us
Oh yeah I remember!!! Him and Platt could be the new 'Iwelumo and Curo', then we still have Lisbie aswell!

The more the merrier; he is definatly looking for a partnership!
Matt_Us
Yeah can't wait for tomorrow's game, to see McLeod!

Guy has done well for the reserves but we really could have do with him going out to Crew. Lisbie Platt and McLod are good on thier day. Teddy and Vernon and back up, although Scotty might be annoyed that McLeod has come in. Maybe it's just Geraint looking at our eight games in March and saying that we need cover. Don't think McLeod will stay for longer than four weeks.

yeah, we have the numbers.
