Williams Wants Positive U`s

Colchester United manager Geraint Williams is looking for a 'positive outlook' from his side, after the U`s moved further from safety, following a crushing defeat at the hands of Plymouth.

Kevin Lisbie got a consolation goal for the visitors after Argyle ran out 4-1 winners at Home Park. After other results went against the U`s, Williams` side are now seven points adrift from 21st placed Coventry at the bottom.

Despite the U`s lowly league position Williams is still looking for his player`s to be positive, post-match he said: 'Three results has seen us slip back down, but we have got to get that positive outlook back that we had at the start of the year and string three or four results together.'

'We came out with a game plan to stop Plymouth, because we knew they had quality in the final third from their wingers.' He revealed.

'But their first goal was a carbon copy of their fourth, put in at the back post from a cross from the right - so we didn't stop them.'

'Plymouth do the basics very very well, and we knew they would hurt us if we let them.' The Welshmen explained.
