Beat Your Neighbors Out Of Points!

Adam Vrgo has told My Football Writer that he thinks Colchester United can still beat relegation, despite being seven points behind the nearest safe team.

Colchester prop up the Championship but the on-loan defender said: 'I think we need to concentrate on our performances and our own results but we do know that we have got Sheffield Wednesday, we have got to play Scunthorpe and Leicester so we will play a few of the teams around and they're the results that will matter come the end of the season.'

Colchester were beaten 4-1 this week by play-off chasing Plymouth but face Scunthorpe on the last day of the season.

'Other games, it would nice if we can pick up points; but the teams in and around us, they're the ones we've got to pick up three points,' added Virgo.

He went on: 'We now have to go to (Crystal) Palace and I think they're going to play a similar way to Plymouth so we'll see if we can learn from tonight so we can go and take three points and get a run going towards the end of the season.'

We need to a win a game then build on it (easier said than done though) we still play some of the teams around us, which will be vital. Up The U's!!
