Laws Agrees: Tonight`s A Big`un

Sheffield Wednesday boss Brian Laws has echoed the sentiments of Colchester`s Geraint Williams, calling tonight`s clash "massive".

As U`s defender Adam Virgo recently sated, it is important to beat those around you in a relegation battle and the match will bring together 22nd Vs 24th place.

"Well now you would say the pressure is off but I would say the pressure is even more intense,' said Laws on Sky last weekend. He explained that a 2-1 over QPR will not mean taking their eye off sticking the ball in the net some more.

"Now we have got the win, it puts more pressure on us to win the next one because if we do, it guarantees we will be out of the bottom three for the first time in a long time.

'It [the Colchester game] is a big test for us and it is a massive game coming up.

"No matter what other results go on around us - and that is the other calmness we have to have - we must put in performances that will win us games.

"There were some good positives to take into the next match and it is a big week for us,' he added, speaking for the club website. Yje quotes have since appeared on Colchester's My Football Writer page.

"There are three games and they are all winnable, if we put in that commitment and desire then we have a chance of winning the games.

"We could have lost this game and with the results around us it could have left us too far adrift and that would've killed everybody."
