Platt Boost for Relegated U's

Clive Platt returns to the U's squad as they travel to the Midlands to face struggling Leicester City.

Platt is likely to have to settle for a place on the bench as Scott Vernon impressed in his absence against Ipswich.

Jamie Guy scored an impressive hat-trick for the second-string midweek, and will be looking for a some game-time.

The U's squad is as follows: Gerken, Cousins, Ifil, Coyne, Heath, White, Virgo, Balogh, Elito, Jackson, Hammond, Izzet, Duguid, Wordsworth, Lisbie, Platt, Vernon, Guy.

Well the squad looks strong, hopefully we can drag the Foxes down with us! Up the U's!

... not sure I really mind who else is down, perahps as long as Southend stay down too! Have a race back to the Championship, like two years ago!

Would be good, but wouldn't mind Leicester coming down with all the money they spent!
