'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Assistant Manager Happy

U's assistant boss Geraint Williams was extremely happy following the 3-2 win against Yeovil at the weekend.

'I felt that over the 90 minutes we were the better side and we deserved to win,' Williams said.

'I know we have been conceding a lot of last-minute goals, and it is good to be on the other side of it for a change. I was really pleased with the attitude of the lads.

'They went behind twice but they kept believing in what we had worked on at the training ground this week. They kept faith, knowing it would pay off, and it did. It was a fantastic result, three goals and three points have given the fans value for money.'
