Duo Keen On U's Man?

Skysports.com is reporting that U's striker Clive Platt is considering a move away from North Essex.

Several Championship clubs are keeping tabs on Platt, with Norwich City and Sheffield United believed to be two of them. The 30-year-old, who joined the U's from MK Dons 12-months ago, scored eight goals last season.

Now with the U's playing League One football next season, the man nicknamed 'The Tree' could be set to up his roots and make an instant return to the Championship...

Looks like the exodus is starting! Who is next? Wasn't fantastic last season and I don't think he would be a regular championship player but I think he will do well in League 1 if he stays. We will need a big target man to go back up. When we got promoted before it was noticeable the difference in having a target make like Iwelumo as previously we had always fallen short of promotion.

Well would be a blow to lose him, I heard Wolves also want him, hope it's not the start of an exodus? Up the U's!

Well This Is Deffo Williams Team Now

I think Wolves were interested in him January time when they signed Big George. Palace are another team that have previously been mentioned. I can't personally see the Norwich link myself but Sheffield United maybe-Kevin Blackwell has always played with a big front man.

Will Be A Shock If Sheff Utd Replace Beattie With Platt We Needa Buy Players Now!!

Yeah, you're right, Palace have also been linked and I've heard Plymouth too.
