Youngster Signs For Croyden

Released Colchester United youngster Jeremiah Olusanya has put pen-to-paper on a deal with Croydon Athletic.

Olusanya, 18, failed to break into the U's senior team, in his time at Layer Road. The pacy front-man made five appearances for the reserves last season.

Athletic boss Dave Garland said: 'It's brilliant. He's very quick and can play wide or play down the middle.

'He has been playing at Colchester but they didn't take him on as a pro. He's was at Bishops' Stortford for a bit last season where he scored quite a few goals.'

Vital Colchester would like to wish Jeremiah the best of luck on his move.

Looked quite good in pre-season last year so i'm surprised he was let go. Might prove to be a mistake if we lose any more wide players!!
