Previous Clubs: Morecambe

Position: Midfielder

Perkins started out with Morecambe, as an eighteen-year-old. While with The Shrimps, who were then a non-league team, Perkins featured for the English non-league side. He spent six years at Christie Park, playing nearly 200 times.

In January 2007, Perkins moved across Lancashire to sign for Rochdale. In eighteen months at Spotlands, Perkins scored 6 goals in over 50 appearances.

Perkins is recognised as one of the best box-to-box midfielders in League Two.
