Kev On Verge Of Town Move

Colchester United look set to lose front-man Kevin Lisbie to neighbours Ipswich Town.

The 29-year-old, who netted 17 goals last season, is on the verge of making the move up the A12, if reports are to be believed. Last week Vital Colchester reported that the Tractor Boys had approached Lisbie, with regard to a move, to read the article click here.

It is rumoured that Town have had a bid accepted, with a fee in between £500,000 and £750,000 reportedly triggering a release clause.

Town boss Jim Magilton told myfootballwriter: 'We're at advanced stages with one or two but until they're actually in the door then it's difficult.

'There may be one triallist and there may be one or two signings this week. They won't travel with the party but they may come later in the week and could be involved in games on the Thursday and the Saturday.'

Dont be to down, When Jim realises Lisbie is as much use as dead camel, he might loan him back to you, really dissappointed with this signing, lets hope it falls at the last hurdle.

That is true, Jacko, Yeates and Deano are good! Lisbie will do a jon, doesn't have to move and is cheap. Pete, he'll do well for you!
Matt_Us
If that is the case Pete he should fit in we with the other lame donkeys in your squad like the cheating welshman
Deeno
Lot of opinions! lol Well just hope it isn't the start of an exodus. Who to replace him?
StevieG Col U
We Got Platt Whos A Proven League One Player , Vernon Had Good End To Season And Is Up For It This Year , Gillespie Shood Easily Fill Lisbies Boots So I Dnt Feel Need For Replacement , Also Quintyn Is Coming Through So . . .
