Watto Given Hatters Chance

Watto Given Hatters Chance

Released Colchester United midfielder Kevin Watson is currently on trial with League Two side Luton Town.

Watson, 34, was freed by the U's in May, after four years in North Essex.

Town, now managed by former U's assistant Mick Harford, are facing a tough season, following a recent hefty points deduction.

The ex-Tottenham Hotspur midfield linchpin has featured in the Hatters' friendlies, with Boreham Wood and Hitchin Town.

Watson, if he was to join the Hatters permanently, could face the U's, as a pre-season between the two sides is scheduled.
