Free Scoring Show Continues

Colchester United continued their impressive pre-season campaign with their second 1-6 Victory within a week, away to Conference side Woking.

Mark Yeates carried on where he left off from the weekend scoring to take his tally to 3 goals in 2 games, however trialist Akanni-Sunday Wasiu went one better scoring his third goal in as many games.

Anthony Wordsworth helped himself to his first pre-season goal lobbing the Woking keeper.

Kem Izzet scored a brace - the first being a a drive from long range.

Johnnie Jackson made it 6 in the dying seconds of the match.

An impressive pre-season to date for the U's, winning and scoring is becoming a habit again albeit it against much lesser teams.

The real test starts in August lets just hope the U's can continue to score so freely!

U's: Gerken, White, Coyne, Heath, Lockwood, Yeates, Hammond (D), Izzet, Wordsworth, Wasiu, Vernon

U's changes at around the hour: Cousins, Griffiths, Hammond (J), Nelson, Bailey-Dennis, Elito, Perkins, Jackson, Quintyn, Gillespie, Platt
