Another Striker?

Colchester United boss Geraint Williams has confirmed that he could sign another striker.

Williams recently added powerful Nigerian forward Akanni-Sunday Wasiu to his squad, on a free transfer. Wasiu brings the U's striking numbers up to four, competing with Clive Platt, Scott Vernon and Steven Gillespie for a starting berth, but Williams revealed that there could be more.

'It may be enough it may be that if the right one comes along then we'll add another one,' he told BBC Essex.

'Competition is never bad but at the moment we've got competition for places as we are.

'If a good one comes along in our price range we might be tempted.'
