Impressive Pre-Season Continues

Colchester's impressive pre-season has continued, scoring five away to the Daggers.

Midfielder Dean Hammond opened the scoring in the 15th minute, feeding off of a fine ball from John White.

Colchester dominated the second half and it was not long before the visitors were back in front with youngster Anthony Wordsworth smashing in the U's second.

Birthday Boy John White hit a sublime 30 yard screamer to take the scores to 3-1 in the 63rd minute.

New striker Sunday Wasiu signed just this week after an impressive trail, scored his fourth goal in pre-season and Colchester's fourth of the game.

Colchester continued to control the game , and it was not long before Wordsworth claimed his brace as the youngster blasted in from close range controlling a rebound off of the woodwork following a corner.

U's: Cousins, White, Reid, Heath (Hammond J. 85), Lockwood, Yeates (Elito 74), Hammond D. (Izzet 74), Jackson, Wordsworth, Platt, Vernon (Wasiu 74)
