'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Williams Happy With Show So Far!!!

Colchester manager George Williams is happy with the way things are shaping up, speaking to the Colchester Official Website, Williams said,

'The new boys have come in with a good attitude and brightened it up. That has meant that the ones who were here before have been reinvigorated after a tough year.

'It is good to be winning and put goals on top of the performances.

'Really, the structure of the side is pleasing me - we look solid defensively and we are scoring goals, which is a recipe for success.

Adding,'It is of couse early days and pre-seasons have gone well before and then the season doesn't start well, so we are not getting carried away.

'However, we are putting in some important building blocks with a good shape, good attitude and competition for places.'
