Colchester United midfielder Mark Yeates has been named in the latest League One Team Of The Week.

The Irish magician netted a classy brace, against Oldham Athletic, on Saturday, to open his account for the season. The 23-year-old is the second U's player to make the team this season, the other being Johnnie Jackson.

Meanwhile, the U's have revealed that youngster Jamie Wright will not be offered a professional deal at the Weston Homes Community Stadium. Wright, 18, is currently on loan with Heybridge Swifts.
