The U's youth academy product, came on as a 73rd minute substitute, for Victor Moses, at Shrewsbury Town's Prostar Stadium. Arsenal's Rhys Murphy fired home both England's goals, within two minutes of each other.

Here is the England team in full: Jason Steele, Kieran Trippier, Lee Hills (Matthew Briggs, 78) Jack Rodwell (Michael Woods, 46) Krystian Pearce, Gavin Hoyte, Jonathan Franks (Jay Thomas, 60) Henri Lansbury (c), Daniel Welbeck, Rhys Murphy, Victor Moses (Medy Elito, 73).

U's Reserves Draw In Thriller

The U's second-string drew 3-3 with their Ipswich Town counter-parts, yesterday afternoon.

Mitchell Nelson, Akanni-Sunday Wasiu and Fabian Batchelor got the U's goals.

Ex-U's boss Phil Parkinson, along with former loanee Hogan Ephraim were reportedly spotted in the crowd.

Well, well done Medy. He could be the man to fill the problem left-wing spot in the senior team.

Interesting to know what clubs the other lads are from. Good luck Medy!
