U's Linked With Keeper

Colchester United have been linked with a move for Witham Town goalkeeper Rhys Madden.

The highly-rated 20-year-old is being closely watched by a handful of Football League clubs.

The U's, however, appear not to be in need of another 'keeper at present.

Meanwhile, the U's have confirmed that they will not appeal Steven Gillespie's red card against Crewe Alexandra.

Gillespie, who was a substitute, was dismissed three minutes from time at Gresty Road. The ex-Bristol City front-man will now miss the U's next three games.
