U's Hold Norwich

Norwich City 1-1 U's

Colchester United reserves held Norwich City reserves to a 1-1 draw at Carrow Road.

Scott Vernon, staking a claim for a starting berth away to Tranmere Rovers on Friday got the U's goal.

Canaries loanee OJ Koroma fired the home side into a lead from a Luke Chadwick cross four minutes after the break. However, Vernon drew the U's level midway through the second period, with a low shot.

Guy Helps Oxford To Win

U's striker Jamie Guy got his first goal for loan club Oxford United last night.

Guy, on a season-long loan with The Yellows, struck just four minutes in to send his side to a 3-1 win over Cambridge United.
