'If It's Football, It's Vital'

U's Exit the Cup Colchester 0 - 1 Leyton Orient

Orient edged this dire encounter late on in the second half after a lacklustre display from all three teams.

The O's progressed into the second round draw running out 0-1 winners in a game where the referee and his lack of understanding of the Laws of the game overshadowed the two teams on the pitch!

Mr Miller needs to consider his options and as the world crashes into recession I hope he does not view a career as a full time referee as a viable option as his display along with at least one of his linesman was disgraceful.

Indeed I hope that if Mr Miller has accepted money for his display today he should be arrested for 'Obtaining money by deception and Impersonating a Match official'.

Take nothing away from the strike that won the game, it was worthy of the win. However neither team deserved to be progressing through to the second round after their respective displays, shame that the game was never given a chance to get going by the man in the middle who could do with some remedial training, in fact I have a book and DVD that may be of some help to him 'The Laws of Association Football', he should try viewing them sometime!
