'If It's Football, It's Vital'

'It Will Take A Little Time'

Ex-Colchester United defender George Elokobi insists it will take 'a little time' for the U's to get used to their new home.

The U's haven not fared well at the Weston Homes Community Stadium so far, however, Elokobi has urged fans to be patience.

He told The Colchester Gazette: 'It will take a little time for everything to come together and to gel as a team, but hopefully Colchester will get it right.

'I hope the team does well and I will always look forward to coming back here.

'It was great to be back and see a few old faces.'

'The stadium is unbelievable - it`s very different to Layer Road and the pitch is lovely and big.'
