Colchester Manager Shortlisted for MOTM

Colchester manager Paul Lambert has been short listed for League Ones December Manager of the Month

Paul Lambert has so far guided the U's from 23rd to 11th place since taking over from former incumbent George Williams.

The U's have won three, drew one and lost one in December and are unbeaten in their last four League One matches.

Paul is up against Nigel Pearson, Roberto Di Matteo & Darren Ferguson

The nomination itself is an indication that since Paul's arrival the fortunes of the team have been moving upwards.

Colchester's recent form is not only a credit to Paul and his team but also the players who are seeing the hard work paying off.

The winner of the award will be named on New Year's Day at 12.20pm on Sky Sports News.

Hope he doesn't win it as the tradition is that the winner usually loses their next match!
