Lambert signs Tierney

Lambert  signs Tierney

The U's have completed the signing of Marc Tierney on a permanent basis for an undisclosed fee.

23-year-old Tierney who has been on loan at Colchester completed the move today.

Tierney who made 90 appearances for Shrewsbury since joining in the summer of 2007 but was out of contract in the summer.

Paul Lambert completes what is his second permanent signing, following on after fellow full-back Alan Maybury signed earlier this winter.

Lockwood is a good player but if he isnt going to be fit then we need to offload him quickly.
