Hammond: Gaffer Given Us 'Winning Mentality'
Colchester United midfielder Dean Hammond has praised manager Paul Lambert for giving the U's a 'winning mentality'.
Lambert has lifted the U's from 20th in League One to 11th place since taking over from Geraint Williams.
The ex-Brighton man, currently the U's on-field captain, told BBC Essex: 'We want to win every game and the gaffer has given us a winning mentality and we now look forward to every game.
'The Community Stadium feels like home now, we've won three or four games in a row and we're enjoying it.'
