U's Winger Hackney In Team Of The Week

Colchester United winger Simon Hackney has been named in the League One Team Of The Week.

The 25-year-old, recently signed from Carlisle, impressed during last Tuesday's 1-0 win over Stockport. He also put in good shift against Hartlepool at the weekend, as the U's drew 1-1. To read Vital Colchester's match reports click here and here, respectively.

Together the two performances earned him a place in the league select, to see the team in full click here.

The nippy wide-man will be looking to feature again tonight, away at Huddersfield.

So what have been your impressions of Hackney so far? Let us know with a comment below!

I'm impressed. And he is not even fully-fit, says the manager! That means he has proved he can make the step up! Hope he turns out to be a good signing.
