U's Loan Trio - Round-Up

Vital Colchester takes a look at how the U's loaned out players are doing at their respective clubs...

Matt Lockwood - BARNET

:- Barnet Extend Lockwood Loan Deal

The 32-year-old continues to feature regularly for The Bees on the left-side of defence. Lockwood will be hoping to help the Underhill outfit move clear of the League Tow trap-door, with them in 20th place at the moment. The ex-Leyton Orient man is currently in his second month with The Bees.

Latest Result: Brentford 1-0 Barnet

Matt Heath - BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION

:- U's Man Heath In Loan Move

The giant centre-back has played in both the South Coast side's games since heading to the Withdean Stadium. Heath also netted on his Seagulls debut, but could not prevent them falling to defeat. They are another team in danger of dropping down a league, precariously sitting 3rd from bottom of League One. He is in the middle of a one-month loan spell with Russel Slade's men.

Latest Result: Brighton 1-3 Southend

Jamie Guy - DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE

:- Guy Goes Out On Loan

The U's YTS product has played three times for the Daggers, once as a sub, since making the temporary switch to Victoria Road. Last night he scored the only goal, earning a narrow win for John Still's side in League Two. They are positioned in 10th place, with a play-off place still in sight. The 21-year-old front-man is currently one week into an initial month-long stay.

Latest Result: Port Vale 0-1 Dag & Red

So who do you think still has a future at the Weston Homes Community Stadium? And who do you think will leave?

Nice round-up! I didn't know Guy and Heakth had scored, although I think Guy might be in with aother chance at the club. Lookwood won't replace Tierney and so, unless he wants to be a squad player, he'll be going!

Yeah, still not 100% sure either way on these three's futures at the club, if Guy scores a hatful of goals then who knows????

Lockwood to go. Tierney is number 1 choice by a long way and White and Jackson are more than able back-ups.
