Trotman And Hawley Return North

NEAL TROTMAN and Karl Hawley have both returned to Deepdale after month long loan spells with Colchester United.

The Preston North End pair both moved South in search of regular first-team football and Trotman featured five times for the U's. While Hawley turned out four times, with injury restricting more appearances.

Centre-back Trotman, 22, had a mixed a four-weeks, earning rave reviews on his debut but struggled towards the end. And front-runner Hawley, 27, failed to net in his time at the Weston Homes Community Stadium but looked sharp in patches.

Vital Colchester's would like to wish Neal and Karl the best of luck in the rest of their careers.
