Vincent To Pen U's Deal

COLCHESTER UNITED boss Paul Lambert has confirmed that he will make Ashley Vincent's loan move to North Essex permanent this summer.

Vincent is currently on loan, from the U's League One rivals Cheltenham Town, at the Weston Homes Community Stadium after penning a deal till the end of the season.

And following a return to full-fitness, Vincent has made four appearance for the U's and impressed the majority of the time.

'I think Ashley can be a really good player and has a great career in front of him,' Lambert revealed to BBC Essex.

'He's got pace, and when you've got that you've always got a chance.'

So are you happy to see Vincent sign permanently?

Well, he wont get us 20 goals a season but has looked ok. And has a bit of pace which can only be a good thing, surely?
