Wilnis Wins Date With U's

Former Ipswich Town stalwart Fabian Wilnis will have a testimonial match in July against the U`s.

The Colchester Daily Gazette reports that the full-back, who was reportedly courted by Colchester last summer, will be rewarded with the game at Portman Road.
Dutchman Wilnis had originally hoped to face Dutch big-time outfit Feyenoord I`m really pleased and excited.

"It`ll be a local derby, which will hopefully attract a decent crowd, and there should be a great atmosphere for what I`m sure will be a brilliant day."

He has spend the past year contracted to Conference side, Greys Athletic, following his release by Ipswich after nine seasons with the Suffolk club.
