'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Vincent Goal Pleases Boss

Ashley Vincent confirmed his Colchester United future by scoring game`s first goal against Yeovil.

"Ash has got terrific pace and he has done well for me since he has been here. I think he`ll be a great player for this Football Club," said manager Paul Lambert on BBC Essex at full-time.

He revealed that the player was on-form, despite recently suffering from a virus.

"He scored six for Cheltenham in a team that were struggling, so he has it in his game. If you can get it out of him, then great," Lambert added. Vincent, out of contract at the end of the season, is on loan from Cheltenham.

The young winger-striker will defiantly be a United player next season.

Think he will be ok, not going to score alot of goals but a handy player. Up the U's!
