Kem Keen On Goals

COLCHESTER UNITED midfield hard-man Kem Izzet has admitted that theres one area of his play he wants to improve on - the art of goalscoring!

Izzet has been ever-present in the centre of the U's midfield this season but has only managed to find the net on one occasion, that coming against Millwall.

After the Yeovil game, he told the EADT: 'Although I'm happy with my season, there are some things I would like to improve on, like scoring a few more goals.

'I don't know what has happened! I've been getting in some decent positions all season, but just not scoring. But I will rectify it,'
he insisted.

The 28-year-old is likely to be one of the players to survive Paul Lambert's summer squad cull.

'It's not something that I think or worry about. I suppose sub-consciously it must, but it doesn't affect me. I just need a bit of luck, rather than my shots going down the keeper's throat or just wide,' he concluded.

So do you agree that Izzet doesn't find the net enough?
