New U's Shop In Town
Colchester United FC have opened a new retail outlet in the town centre.
The League One club have expanded their operation since moving to a new ground last summer, and decided to rent a property nearer to local shoppers.
There had been a trial last Christmas, which proved a successful pilot. It is situated on Sir Issac`s Walk.
The smaller club shop , closer to the fans, should make it much easier to nip into town, rather than travel down the A 12 motorway, to pick up tickets and merchandise.

I always think we should have a shop in our town, perhaps now isn't the correct climate to open it but definitely a good idea.
