Lambo Looking North Of The Boarder

COLCHESTER UNITED boss Paul Lambert is thought to be tracking a number of Scottish Premier League players in his search for new talent.

Goalkeeper Tomáš Černý, highly-rated youngster James McCarthy, midfielder James McArthur and versatile defender Brian Easton all of Hamilton Academical are a number of the stars on Lambert's radar. The Scotsman recently attended Accies final game of the season while on a scouting trip.

Their opponents for that game, St Mirren, are believed to hold another of Lambert's targets. That being goalscoring midfield man Andy Dorman, although Old Firm giants Rangers are also strongly interested.

So far during the close season the U's have secured the services of Ashley Vincent, with more deals expected soon...
