Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo draws relative comparison to Mark Yeates as it appears he too has a price.
Manager Paul Lambert told the East Anglian Daily Times today he is ready to lose his star turn as he anticipates a bid from ex Premier League side Middlesbrough.
Lambert said although in an ideal world he would like to keep the tricky midfielder, he would accept an offer if it were too good to be true.
"Players will have to go, because I want to bring others in," said the Scot this morning.
"There is not the same money around as when this club was in the Championship, and I understand that.
"I expect things to happen with Mark, if an offer comes in that is good for the club.
He would definitely leave a hole. You never like to see your best players leave, but I'm trying to get a few more players in."
Will the U's be able to resist a big-money offer?
