Boss Says Five More To Come

Boss Says Five More To Come

Colchester United will sign six faces this summer - that`s official.

Manager Paul Lambert revealed the figure is today`s local press, meaning that 33% of voters on this site`s latest poll were correct.

An overwhelming 44% believed the manager would sign just between one and three players, probably swayed by a discernable lack of squad sales.

Now, however, the manager has said: "I know how many I want to bring in - there are six - and I want to be working with a first team squad of just 21 or 22."

So movement in the transfer window, in both directions, can be expected as the boss looks for players to join signings Ashley Vincent and David Fox.
