Twitter Launched: Follow Me, Follow U`s!

Look a Phil Collins pun. And Vital Colchester launching, earlier than planned, a Twitter account...

Vital Colchester is getting web-active this summer, among a number of changes at the site and hopes also to announce a Facebook fan page shortly.

This summer we are also expecting to confirm that popular columnist C02 will stay with us for next season as he brings us his U's review programme notes.

We are also firmly behind a campaign to get former boss Dick Graham recognised with the possible re-naming of the West Stand in his honour. Click here to view that and sing up to the Facebook page.

We are passionate about the club, and have been covering the U's since the launch of the Vital network in 2005.

Vital Colchester have brought you an exclusive interview with Teddy Sheringham in 2007 and coverage of the final day at Layer Road before the bulldozers moved in last summer.

We are currently looking for a new matchday reporter, to cover Colchester United's away fixtures for the 2009/10 season. Will it be you? Contact the site, if so.

Finally, we are looking for willing supporters to design a new host of banners for the site. Click here to view the rules and or e-mail entries site.

A Phil Collins pun? New lows my friend, new lows! Welcome to the world of Twitter, hopefully it'll help a lot. I've been surprised how much it has to be honest.
