Norwich City In Ifil Link

The Sunday People says Phil Ifil, formally of Tottenham is being monitored by Norwich City.

Colchester United manager Paul Lambert told Ifil to find a new club at the end of the season, following a prolonged absence from the first-team.

He was signed eighteen months ago by Geraint Williams but has hardly featured under Lambert since he arrived in the autumn.

The fee was one of the highest Colchester have ever paid for a player, and the U`s beat Southampton to his signature.

Vital Norwich also carries a report on today`s link, which can be viewed here.
