No Deal! Coyne Still With U`s
Perth Glory have issued a statement to cool the whirlwind of speculation surrounding Chris Coyne`s potential transfer.
Some sources have repeatedly claimed that Coyne, 30, had already signed his three-year offer with the Socceroos outfit, following months of speculation surrounding his future.
Vital Colchester alone has published 12 articles relating to his on-off switch to the Glory since the end of the season in May.
Today`s update comes direct from the potential buyers, who write: "Perth Glory is aware of media reports claiming Socceroos defender Chris Coyne has accepted a contract to join the club."
The statement continues: "Perth Glory has not received official notification that Coyne has been released from his current contract and as such he remains a Colchester United player."
This saga continues.
When will Coyne leave, or is there another U-turn in the pipeline?
