Grant Holt - Shrewsbury Town - After an initial recent £250,000 bid rejected the Shews have told the U`s he is not for sale. Unlikely!
David Fox - Blackpool - Ex-Manchester United midfielder wings in to add healthy competition in the centre of midfield. Done Deal!
Magnus Okuonghae - Dagenham & Redbridge - Contract rebel has joined Colchester. Done Deal! Michael Nelson - Free Agent - Wanted by a handful of clubs, in a race which results in Norwich City securing his services. No Deal! Rob Jones - Scunthorpe - Giant centre-halve was subject of January transfer bid from U's but has become Scunny`s record signing to return to England from Hibs. No Deal!
Lee Beevers - Lincoln City - Rejects offer from SPL side Motherwell is favour of move to North Essex. Done Deal!
Ben Williams - Carlisle United - Stopper confirmed as a U`s player this week. Done Deal!
Matt Holland - Charlton Athletic - Training with the U`s due to closeness while he considers a new offer at Charlton. U`s tipped to pip them to it and seal a player-coach agreement. Possible!
Rab Douglas - Dundee - Veteran goalie enquired about by Paul Lambert in case the Ben Williams signing fell through; warned off by the Scottish club. No Deal!
Paul Benson - Dagenham & Redbridge - Daggers are trying to keep what remains of a revenged squad together, but striker Benson interesting clubs, including Gillingham. Age may count against him . Unlikely!
Jermaine Easter - Plymouth - Former loan man Easter linked with a return as the U`s look for a Championship striker. Possible!
Kevin Lisbie - Ipswich - Another Championship striker, Lisbie has upset new boss Roy Keane and could be ideal if he decides to reverse up the A12.

Jamie Cureton - Norwich - Paul Lambert made no mention of interest in the striker when Cureton said in winter he would then have welcomed a return. Linked again, telling City he needs games.

Jamie Guy - Dagenham & Redbridge - After loan spell with The Daggers last season a permanent move has been touted. Possible! Akanni-Sunday Wasiu - Free Agent - Nigerian front-runner will leave when his contract expires in July after unsuccessful spell. Done Deal!
Chris Coyne - Perth Glory + Others - Long-running transfer saga looks set to end in a move back to Coyne's homeland after he was confirmed an released from his contract. Done Deal!
Medy Elito - Leyton Orient - Another U's player to be linked with Orient, a loan deal would be the most likely option. Possible!
Dean Gerken - Charlton Athletic + Bristol City - Highly-rated stopper initially linked with Summer move to Charlton Athletic but The Robin secure his signature. Done Deal!
Scott Vernon - Carlisle United - Ex-Oldham goal-poacher linked as possible makeweight in Williams` deal, although has rejected the chance to leave the U`s. No Deal!
Clive Platt - Norwich City - Supposedly a target after City fail to land Alan Lee from Crystal Palace, who chose Barnsley instead . Unlikely!
Phil Ifil - Norwich City - Luckless defender who has not featured for Colchester in months; if this rumour proves true, will be a cheap acquisition for City . Possible!
