Ticket News - Aston Villa (H)

The Colchester United FC ticket office say it is becoming increasingly difficult to get a seat for next week`s tie against Premiership Aston Villa.

Good sales are put down to it being the U`s only home friendly of the summer as United fans anticipate watching an array of future stars and some established top-flight players.

Despite Villa`s manager Martin O`Neil enjoying a good friendship with U`s manager Paul Lambert from their time at Celtic, the visitors may well rest players as they travel initially to Spain for a pre-season Peace Cup competition. They then face upcoming Europa Cup qualifiers.

Villa have an away allocation of bewteen 1,760 and 1,940 for the match. Admission is 15 for adults, 10 for student / OAP tickets and 5 for children. There will be three coach-loads of away fans making the trip to Essex, sister fanzine Vital Aston Villa have confirmed.

Kick-off at the Weston Homes Community Stadium is 7-45 PM, on Tuesday July 21.

Any away fans wishing to make the trip have until tomorrow to purchase a ticket, according to the Aston Villa Official Website.
