Eltio & Lockwood - Futures Sealed?

Medi Elito and Matt Lockwood almost certainly have no future with Colchester United after failing to appear at today`s first-team media day.

Along with Johnnie Jackson, who was also absent, as earlier reported on Vital Colchester, here, Elito and Lockwood did not appear. Most fit members of the squad were present, according to the EADT.

While there have been no public bids for any one of the trio, it is thought that the U`s would release left-back Lockwood for a nominal fee as his name appeared on the PFA list of players available despite having another year on his current contract.

Leyton Orient had been linked in the local media with a possible bid for a player formally popular with the O`s, while Colchester manager Paul Lambert has said a move for Elito depends solely on the quality of the player`s agent.

So what will become of these two?

Well - think it was obvious there not going to be in Lambert's plans. Disappointed that Elito never came to his full potential. Ifil also not included!

True, Ifil but then he has / had been on trial at MK Dons.
Matt_Us
Yeah - nothing appears to have come of that.
