Defence Shines, As Duo Make League Select

Two of Colchester United's back-line have been rewarded for an impressive showing of late, with a place in The League One Team of the Week.

Aidy Boothroyd's side boasts a defence which has conceded just nine league goals all season, helping them to a solid fourth place start.

And following the U's second home win, and clean sheet, in the space of four days, against Huddersfield Town, goalkeeper Ben Williams, along with right-back John White, have made the select eleven. In difficult conditions, the entire U's back-four performed admirably.

Keep up the good work, lads!

Really pleased for John White given his uncertainty over his future under 'he who shall not be named'. Colchester through and through and a steady performer who doesnt seem to get the praise he deserves at times. Williams too is starting to look real quality.

lol Yep, atm the whole back-five looks very good. Very organised and a lot better than whenever 'he who shall not be named' was here! Up the U's!
