'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Superb Gilly Snares Reserve Hat-trick

Record signing Steven Gillespie shone for Colchester United's second-string in a comfortable win over Grays Athletic.

Gillespie dispatched a tidy trio of strikes, inside of twenty-five minutes, at the Weston Homes Community Stadium. While, midfield duo David Fox and Medy Elito added gloss to the scoreline.

'We know a lot about Steven from his previous clubs. There's a history of bumps and niggles but I'm really looking forward to working with him,' U's manager Aidy Boothroyd told The Daily Gazette.

And Boothroyd added: 'He's a very big talent who I think so far has not done what he wants to do in his career.'

They should be either kicked out of the competition or made to play all their games away. heir fans are an absolute disgrace.
