'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Aidy Cautious Over Bromley 'Banana-Skin'

Colchester United manager Aidy Boothroyd has been quick to extinguish any post-match thoughts that Saturday's FA Cup First Round match will be an easy game.

The U's visit non-leaguers Bromley FC, with a tricky tie expected at the 'Layer Road style' Hayes Lane.

The Ravens, who play their league football in the Conference South division, currently sit in eighth position.

'They are eighth in the table, so it will be a tough game for us,' Boothroyd explained.

And with the FA Cup famous for providing some unexpected surprises down the years, the U's are in for a tough afternoon.

Boothroyd added: 'Away from home if you don`t prepare properly, an upset will be on the cards, so we`ve got to make sure we do things right and get through to the next round.'
