LuaLua Rejoins Former Club - But Not U`s!

LuaLua Rejoins Former Club - But Not U`s!

Lomana LuaLua, once a Colchester United cult-hero, has today rejoined another of his former clubs. Read it AGAIN people… it isn`t us!

At first glance the news could look positively like we pulled a late Christmas cracker; instead, it is that the ex-Premiership striker, who played for Newcastle and Portsmouth, has agreed to play again for Olympiakos, current Greek champions, whom he left in 2008.

LuaLua inspired a following their also akin to that which he enjoys in Essex and is well-remembered for his time in England because of an athletic goal-celebration of summersaults which has become his trademark.

Now 29, LuaLua has twice spoken in the past year of his desire to play again for the U`s before he retires professionally - just not yet, it seems!
