Boothroyd: U's MUST Bounce Back!

Aidy Boothroyd readily admitted that his out-of-sorts Colchester United side must do all they can to bounce back against Brentford tomorrow night.

The U's have endured a poor spell of form, with three defeats from the last four matches, and a last-minute 1-0 defeat to Walsall seeing further disappointment on Saturday. Following a loss against Carlisle United, one week earlier, it was the second time in seven days the U's have fallen to ten men - a stat not good enough for a promotion chasing side!

'We'll sort it all out. In two weeks' time, things could be very different and I'm aware of that, just as the fans are,' explained Boothroyd optimistically, post-match, at the Bescot Stadium.

Tuesday night's League One clash with Brenford - who have already beaten the U's this season - comes at the right time as the U's look to get back to winning ways.

Boothroyd concluded: 'As a team, we must bounce back and we have the chance to do so on Tuesday against Brentford.'

Let's hope we are three points better off, come 10pm, Tuesday!
