Injury Update On Ruled-Out Odejayi

Injury Update On Ruled-Out Odejayi

Injury victim Kayode Odejayi will not face either Exeter City on Millwall over the weekend`s busy Easter-based schedule after an update on his somewhat mysterious ankle knock.

The imposing striker, a goal threat with ten to his name this term, limped out of the side`s last away game against Wassail and has now been ruled out once more as his recovery continues.

Although the club say his lay-off will not last long, calling his problem "not severe" it looked as if he was close to a recover after boss Aidy Boothroyd included him in last weekend`s squad that faced Wycombe on Saturday.

"Kayode is not going to travel. He has ligament damage on the ankle," assistant manager John Ward confirmed for the Daily Gazette.
