'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Lisbie Sure He`s Outta Town After 50 Phonecalls!

Kevin Lisbie`s frosty relationship with Roy Keane means the former Charlton and Norwich striker is sure he will leave them this summer and what`s more he`s sure he won`t have any problem finding new employers.

Lisbie, who enjoys a certain amount of hero-worship amongst Colchester fans for his contributions over two separate spells with the Essex side, has confirmed a preference of Championship football next season and could be in line for a move to newly-promoted Millwall.

The Lions, along with Colchester`s League One rivals Southampton, publically declared that they were keeping tabs on the player during the January transfer window.

Lisbie recently said he had received calls from more than fifty calls from interested agents trying to broker potential deals and added that former Manchester United and Celtic figurehead Keane has told him he will not play for Town again.

"I would like to get myself sorted out soon, because I'd like to do a proper pre-season at a club. But I can't see me being welcomed back by Ipswich. I think the manager's view of me is more personal than a purely football thing," he said in the EADT.

Sorry but Southampton have at no time said that we were interested in him. Even saints fans know nothing until a deal is done as our chairman does not advertise his interest in anybody.
